In the Italian city of Mantua, in the beautiful location of Go Parc (amusement park), CTE and Genie have received large numbers of customers to celebrate 25 years of partnership with an Open Day dedicated to the presentation of new products and a lot of live demos.
Considering recent launch of new Genie products and following the arrival of the new CTE ZED 21 JH (World Premiere at Intermat Paris), could not miss an Open Day held on May 4th to present these very interesting news at the Italian customers.
The fleet presented, consisting in 5 truck-mounted platforms (ZED 20 CH, ZED 21 JH, ZED 26 J, B-LIFT 20.13 MULTIPURPOSE and B-LIFT 510 HIGH RANGE), 1 spider-lift (TRACCESS 170), 5 self-propelled (GENIE GTH 2506, GS 3369 RT, GS 4047, GR 26J and Z 40 NRJ) and 1 powered low level access (POWER TOWER NANO), has gained a considerable interest from customers, expressed by several demos on the platforms exposed made for the entire day.
The open-day was not entirely dedicated to the presentation of products, but alternating moments dedicated to the demo and equally exciting moments for the kart race in the largest European indoor track of Go Parc in Mantua.
An important moment was the presentation of the history of CTE and Genie, from the beginning to today, and the partnership signed in 1987 which provided for CTE the exclusive sale of Genie product in Italy.
NEW PLATFORMS ON DISPLAY
ZED 21 JH: represents the meeting between the peculiarities of the ZED 21 J (21 m working height with jib 2.1 m), the CTE patented stabilization system with connecting rods, and the concept of increased capacity presented recently with the ZED 20 CSH. The machine is configured in an optimal manner, both from the technical and operative point of view, in order to have a load of 300 kg on the basket over the entire working area without limitations. This means that anyone can work with a small footprint on the road, less than 3 m in width, without any way impair the safety and the performance, thanks to the zero “footprint tail”. This lets you use this machine to its full capacity and in a range of varied applications. The loading of 300 kg in the basket is a great news for the platforms market sector, as is the only one that allow 300 kg of loading capacity at 21 m of working height (B driver license). The boom is being completely redesigned, more compact and less bulky: now is in fact parallel to the articulated arm. Then The jib: the inclination of the jib has been increased by 30 ° in positive, from 110 ° to 145 °, the modification was made to make more flexible use of the boom to particular jobs, such as the trusses. The tubes are positioned inside the boom and result to be repaired and then protected. At the end, to ensure better visibility and to be more user-friendly, the controls are positioned tilted towards the operator and repaired by a new cover panel, more ergonomic of the previous versions.
The well tested formula with alternation between moments dedicated to demos and training and events dedicated to the fun-karts, was very successful. All guests have shown great interest and active participation, thus increasing loyalty to the CTE philosophy.
